Under the guidance of the Value Stream Supervisor, the Manufacturing Technician will help build vessels and assembled components used in the manufacturing process.

You Will :

Operate small hand tools, wrenches, impact guns, torque wrenches, sanders and small grinders.

Assemble parts according to instructions, pulling parts listed on the bill of material (BOM) and verifying them against blueprints and work orders.

Perform preventative maintenance on tools and ensure the overhead crane is functioning properly.

Use a crane and forklift for material handling.

Attend regular safety meetings and training.

Inspect produced parts to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Organize and clean the work area.

Perform tasks according to established procedures, with limited opportunity for independent decision-making

You Have :

A high school diploma or equivalent, with an aptitude for understanding basic mechanical or electrical repair.

A current forklift license.

The ability to read blueprints.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and / or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment :

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
