The Position : In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently undertaking a variety of plumbing tasks within the restaurant and industrial industry.

The tasks range from fixing leakages to installing pipes and grease trap maintenance.

Responsibilities :

• Install, repair, replace, and maintain water lines, gas lines, vacuum lines, sewer lines, pumps, water heaters, piping, traps, valves, vents, sinks, toilets, fittings, faucets, drains, and more in residential or commercial environments.
• Possess working knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC).
• Cut and thread pipes, braze, soft solder copper pipe, and pro-press pipe.
• Work off ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including faucets, burst pipes, and clogged drains.
• Use augers and high-pressure hydro jetting equipment to clear sewers and drains.
• Inspect and repair gas lines, meters, and regulators.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring vehicles and equipment are serviced and in good condition.
• Inspect and repair lift stations, grease interceptors, grit interceptors, and oil water separators.
• Assemble and install valves and pipe fittings; repair and maintain various plumbing fixtures.
• Bend pipes, join pipes using various methods, and ensure system integrity by pressure testing.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and provide solutions.
• Install, repair, and test Backflow system components.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Review construction plans and submittal data.
• Perform equipment maintenance and demonstrate teamwork and leadership skills.
• Be available for "On-Call," overtime, and odd hours as needed.
• Lead a small crew as a foreman.
• Perform hydro-jetting and preventative maintenance.
• Provide emergency services for overflows, sometimes outside regular hours.
• Drive company truck with jetter trailer and maintain contact with supervisors.
• Inspect and ensure proper operation of jetting equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve drain issues in commercial settings.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate : A journeyman-level plumber with a backflow certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.

An OSSF certification will also need to be obtained within 30 days, paid for by the company.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• Valid Plumbing License with the Texas State Board of Plumbing.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Ability to operate a plumbing snake (roto-rooter) and basic hand tools.
• Knowledge and ability to operate a jetting machine.
• Experience in commercial and industrial service work preferred.
• Ability to handle long periods of driving, bending, stooping, climbing, stepping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
