POSITION SUMMARY :
Sugarbush Resort is seeking a full-time year-round Procurement Accountant to join our Finance team! The Procurement Accountant is responsible for overseeing the procurement of the resort purchases, including preparing and reviewing purchasing orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Point person for questions regarding purchasing process and system.
Manage and maintain Outlook inbox for AP invoices.
Upload accurate invoices into Readsoft.
Place orders as needed.
Sort and distribute resort mail as needed.
Create Fed-ex labels for all outgoing packages.
Review monthly invoices for payment accuracy.
Receive receipts for services in Microsoft D365.
Review coding and accuracy for resort quick checks.
Monthly accrual sheet update and ownership.
Set up new vendors in Alterra PowerApp.
Research and recommend cost savings, including encouragement of preferred vendors and price negotiations for select purchases.
Partner with purchasing team and other resorts for efficiency.
Coordinate the buying of summer / winter uniforms.
QUALIFICATIONS :
3+ years' experience in Accounting or Purchasing. Accounting or related degree preferred.
Strong computer skills required, including MS Office experience and ability to quickly learn use of specialized applications for purchasing systems.
Must have excellent organizational and communications skills.
Ability to learn and follow detailed operating procedures.
Ability to converse comfortably and clearly with many different people and ability to handle all communications in a courteous and efficient manner.
Respond quickly and calmly to requests. Maintain confidentiality when needed.
Enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to help out where needed.
Experience with D365 preferred.
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
