Targeted Years of Experience :
5-7 years Center Engineer needed to drive the deployment of conventional and next generation core network technologies;
including Access Unification, NGPON, ROADM, NGROADM, Ultra Long-Haul (ULH), OTN Mesh, MSPP, DXC and associated electronics.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines and schedules. Resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure internal and external commitments are met.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to recommend enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency. Drive and manage vendor and outsource teams to meet construction timelines.
- Experience in Project Management is required
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels : from team members to executive management
- Proven ability to negotiate and motivate others
- Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation, leadership, and team orientation
- Demonstrates analytic, technical, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
- Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.
- Creating Material Requests.
- Forecast future needs based on project start dates.
- Ensure proper tracking of all components.
- Monitor all equipment expenditures.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.
- Equipment Procurement & Optimization.
- Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.
- Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members. ICON, CCP and Canvas knowledge is a plus.
