Professional Land Surveyor

We're looking for a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team at our Oklahoma City location. This individual will assist with a variety of projects from any of our service areas : Land Development, Public Works, Transportation, Industrial / Energy, Architectural Engineering, and Electric Utility Design.

Responsibilities :

• Preparation of topographic, property boundary, and engineering design surveys, and construction staking.
• Project management of assigned surveys covering fieldwork, mapping overview, and budget adherence.
• Assist in budget preparation and tracking.
• Assist in processing survey data and drawing production.
• Quickly solve daily survey-related problems and complete projects in a timely manner.
• Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to staff members.
• Point of contact for clients to ensure the survey meets their needs and objectives.
• Develop and maintain client relations.

Requirements :

• PLS license in Oklahoma is preferred (or on track to obtain said license).
• Experience with GPS, Total Station (robotic and / or conventional), laser levels, and data collection systems.
• Proficient in Autodesk and / or MicroStation.
• Must be willing to work in the office and in the field.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Knowledge of standard boundary reconciliation principles.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure, be self-directed, and exhibit good business judgment.
• Able to meet the physical demands of site visits in client facilities and related travel.
• Compliance with MKEC and client drug / alcohol and safety programs.
• Current and valid driver's license.
