Associate Planner

POSITION PURPOSE : Assists the development, planning, execution and communication of a product strategy and assortment that meets or exceeds financial goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Monitor performance to achieve goals. Review actual sales performance weekly / monthly, then re-project in-season sales and inventories on a weekly / monthly basis and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals. Collaborate with cross-functional team on basic replenishment styles to optimize sales and inventory. Assist in presenting forecasted sales and inventory plans. Plan inventory levels to maximize sales. Monitor sales and inventory to ensure optimal store assortments. Analyze OTB and take action as necessary by reviewing sales and inventory against financial goals, and recommending changes to future order quantities, deliveries, pricing or markdown strategies. Develop seasonal strategies. Ensure the financial success of one or more departments by developing plans that meet or exceed targets (sales, gross margin and inventory turn goals).

The Guess?, Inc. Merchandise Planning department is looking for a fashion forward and business savvy individual to join their highly analytical and fashion intuitive team. All Guess?, Inc. Planners diligently examine past style and classification performance, forecast the future, and manage inventory levels. Planners work closely with the Buying and Allocation teams to help optimize merchandise buy quantities and store allocations. The dynamic nature of Planning not only ensures constant cross-functional engagement, but also the ability to witness firsthand how your projections translate into tangible business success.

Location : LA World Headquarters

Salary Minimum : $70,000.00

Salary Maximum : $75,000.00

Base salary will be determined on various factors, including but not limited to, market data, internal equity, relevant background, and experience for the specified role. GUESS?
