We need to improve and establish best practices for our end users by offering them a Well Architecture Frame cloud platform that meets their needs and best fit for compliance and security needs.

The AWS CoE team in charge of building and maintaining AWS Cloud Platform that would suit the needs of our business. We will make reusable IaC , Gitlab CI / CD pipelines, support our operations and provide guidance to our partners to ensure our platform is the simplest, most reliable, and best performing way to drive development.

As a AWS Senior Engineer for the AWS Center of Excellence team, your main responsibility is to support the AWS infrastructure and our business partners.

You will have the chance to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery, and work with your team and end users to assist them in using this platform.

Setting up AWS infrastructure

Write IAC code to install custom applications and COTS tools in AWS.

Create the pipelines to install and rehydrate in AWS.

Take software as a black box and deploy and install in AWS.

This person will be based out of Princeton, NJ and will be onsite 60% of the time.

Requirements :

Bac helor's or master's de gree in computer science, Engineering or similar

5-7 years of experience in AWS as an Engineer

3-5 years of experience of infrastructure-as-code principles and experience with tools like Terraform and Ansible.

3-4 years of Working knowledge of DevOps and delivery tools like Gitlab

Solid understanding of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

5-7 years of AWS WAF concepts and principles with hands on experience.

Practical understanding of infrastructure technologies - compute, network, storage

2-3 years of Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) .

Proven experience with AWS cloud Platforms, PaaS, SaaS experience.

5-7 years of hands-on experience of VPC , AWS Transit VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect methodologies.

5-7 years of hands-on experience IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling.

Well versed in leveraging following some or more AWS Services : Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Kinesis, SageMaker , Lambda, Glue, Aurora, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, SQS, CloudFormation

Demonstrate knowledge in AWS Cloud and Internet technologies, including TCP / IP, DNS, Web architecture and design.

Well versed with Cloud design patterns

3-5 years of e xperience in developing Terraform templates / modules.

Designing and developing automation tools and infrastructure to run service-oriented stacks on an internal data center , AWS .

3-5 years of e xperience in large -scale Cloud environment and SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS pattern development by using AWS .

Strong experience in developing Cloud formation templates and modules.

Ability to design data storage, movement, orchestration solutions on AWS.

Design, co-ordinate and execute proof of concepts, guidance on business scenarios and deployment guidance.

Experience working in SCRUM / Agile Development environment.
