Medical Laboratory Scientist

Pride Health is hiring Medical Lab Scientist II to support our client’s medical facility based in Jacksonville FL

This is a 6-month Contract job with a possible extension opportunity we are looking for permanent candidates and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

BLOOD BANK GENERALIST

Location : Jacksonville FL

Job Type : 6+ months - W2 contract - with possible extension

Schedule : 2nd shift 230-11pm M-F

Every 4th weekend 7a-

Pay Range : $25-$40

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials. )

Responsibilities :

• Responsibilities are interchangeable within job titles of medical laboratory scientist (MLS), medical technologist or clinical laboratory scientist.
• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.

Qualifications :

• 4-year BS or MLT.
• ASCP OR AMT is a must
• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
