Responsibilities
Provides safe, competent nursing care for all patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and Philosophy.
Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
The concepts of patient centered care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current American Heart Association BLS required at time of hire. ACLS required (or obtained within 90 days of employment)
- 3 years Surgery experience required
- Coordinator experience preferred; 2 years robotic experience required; MIS (minimally invasive surgery) experience
- Knowledge of Surgical terminology equipment, materials, policies / procedeures
- Knowldge of surgical procedures; Urology; Gynecology; General Surgery; Laparoscopic; Podiatric; Plastic : Neuro; and Orthopedics
