Key Responsibilities :
Provide Individualized Support :
Deliver one-on-one and group occupational therapy sessions to students, ensuring tailored attention and assistance.
Develop and Implement Therapy Plans :
Design and execute customized occupational therapy plans to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities, catering to each student's unique needs.
Collaborate with School Staff :
Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive and effective therapy interventions, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for students.
Maintain Comprehensive Records :
Keep thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions, supporting informed decision-making and continuous evaluation of therapy outcomes.
Qualifications : OT Certification :
OT Certification :
Certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is required, along with a valid state license to practice in North Carolina.
Experience and Skills :
Previous experience working with children with special needs in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are essential.
