Human Resources Payroll Manager
Charleston area company seeking experienced HR / Payroll manager to join their team.
Duties
- Process payroll for 3-4 companies.
- Determine tax obligations for the company.
- Onboard and offboard employees.
- Manage 401K plan and health insurance plan.
- Create / manage payroll and HR policies and company handbook.
- Create new employee employment agreements.
- Create new contractor agreements.
- Investigate, resolve and identify discrepancies in payroll records and employee timesheets.
- Assists with preparation of performance reviews.
- Ensures all up-to-date legal posts are placed in designated areas within established timeframes.
Requirements

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations for multiple states.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office.
- Must have excellent multi-tasking skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education / experience in human resources.
- Minimum of at least 3 years of experience with payroll systems.
