Required Skills & Experience
- Familiar with mortgage documentation including but not limited to : Automated Underwriting Feedback, 1008, Investor Locks, Notes, Deeds of Trust, Allonges, Endorsements and Riders.
- Familiar with GSE guidelines, wholesale and residential retail processes (commercial experience also considered).
- Work well in a team environment and have excellent communication.
- 6+ months of Customer Service, Financial Services, or Contact Center experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Skills & Experience
Strong Excel skills (Vlookup, data validation and review).
What You Will Be Doing
- Work with internal & external clients with ongoing systematic updates related to closing agents, insurance, state licensing, background checks, wire instructions, legal modifications, addendums, and new client onboarding.
- Confirm receipt of legal documentation, maintain system of records to ensure accuracy and compliance at all times.
- Frequent interaction with clients and closing agents via some phone and mostly email providing updates on approvals, client issues and questions.
- Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Customer Service.
- Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Customer Service.
- Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide information to client personnel in Customer Service.
