The Phoenix office of SmithGroup is looking for a Interior Designer to join our team.

Working with us, you will :

Manage projects, including negotiating project scope and fees, job production and quality, and lead construction administration efforts.

Prepare, coordinate, and complete construction document packages.Consult with manufacturers, research and evaluate FF&E materials and products.

Research information and create graphics for inclusion in marketing proposals and materials.Serve as a resource on interior design issues to others in the office, as well as oversee the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive design.

Lead client presentations and visioning sessions to develop programs for clients.Be responsible for meeting project deadlines and budget constraints.An ideal candidate has :

A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.Minimum 4 years of related experience in Higher Education and Science & Technology projects of varying types and complexity.

LEED AP preferred. Architectural or Interior Design registration preferred.Experience in Revit and AutoCAD with 3-D modeling capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to perform work involving independent judgment and to act as project coordinator and leader.The ability to produce and coordinate a complete set of construction documents for permitting and bidding on projects.
