Job Description

As the Lifecycle Services Global Resource Management Business Systems Analyst you will be the key role in leading the deployment of the Resource Management functionality in the PSA Global Resource Management Acceleration Initiative.

You will lead Global transformation of the resource assignment, intelligent staffing, availability, and other main functions provided by the PSA tool for the LCS regional and business organizations through phased deployments.

You will also be the Workstream lead for all "Resource Management" processes and topics within our Project Delivery Operations team (and would also be the Global Process Owner for "Resource Management" across LCS, collaborating with Resource Management Regional Process Owners and Workforce Planning teams across LCS.

You will develop projects plans from conception through to close. Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control courses.

As the Resource Management lead, you will have responsibility to understand the needs of the LCS Global Business and their partners to lead efficiency, improve business processes and support strategic goals.

You will need to build relationships organizationally to maintain support of the Resource Management functional roles and processes.

Following the completion of the PSA deployment, you will continue to provide business operations support as an SME and Business Process Owner, with continued focus on people, process and tools needs and improvements.

You will report to Manager of Project Delivery Platforms and Processes.

Responsibilities :

  • PSA Salesforce Software implementation for Global Resource Management Process
  • Analyze and Evaluate our requirements, consult with personnel from different departments and identify areas to develop technical solutions to automate and improve business processes.
  • Train, lead, and provide technical guidance to professional and technical staff assigned to business systems analysis;

direct the work of peers and subordinate professional Information Technology staff on assigned projects.

Be the project lead over large business automation projects; develop and monitor project budgets and resources; interfaces with clients to define project scope and review project activities, recommendations, and outcomes;

coordinate the use of project resources based on project requirements; designs and implements project testing and quality assurance processes.

  • Ensuring processes within the functional domain are appropriate, documented, and aligned globally and to strategic business goals :
  • Review, advise, and decide about process change requests (empowered by management of the functional domain
  • Review and approve process changes and process documentation
  • Improve process within the functional domain (data-driven KPI), in consideration of strategic goals

The Essentials- What You Will Have :

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% internationally as needed during the project deployments.

The Preferred- You May Also Have :

  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience with Resource Management processes and tools with preferred experience / expertise with Certinia PSA Resource Management (and / or other modern Resource Management tools)
  • Understanding of current state Resource Management methods and tools used today across Lifecycle Services segment at Rockwell Automation
  • Experience leading previous software deployments
  • Articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Forward looking with a comprehensive approach
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
