Job Description
The position is responsible to own, define, implement, and execute the Business Unit AI (Access Control and Intrusion) strategy for our Dealer Program targeted at the Regional Direct Dealer customer base in North America.
The role owns and leads the Dealer Program, ensuring it is continually deployed, managed, marketed, adapted, supported, and maintained as a driving element for our direct dealer customers.
The role is focused on establishing loyalty and creating measurable growth through a comprehensive affinity program continually developed with and for our direct dealer base, through value added benefits that entice dealers to partner with us for our products, solutions, and services.
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and establish dealer tier criteria and program elements providing valuable differentiation and creating motivation for dealers to grow their business with BU AI.
- Create and deploy marketing plan to regularly promote the program, highlight specific elements, and create a sense of partnership between dealers and BU AI.
- Through Voice-Of-Customer engagements and via leading internal team members from Sales, Marketing, etc., continually assess and determine new elements for the program.
- Propose and pilot new Dealer Program benefits through targeted customers identified by the Regional Sales Directors piloting together with the Sales District Manager.
- Manage the launch of new program elements - marketing, collateral, project management KPIs for deployment and effectiveness over time.
- Develop Training Certification expectations and adherence requirements for continued Dealer Program membership.
- Track dealer compliance to sales revenue, training requirements, etc. for dealer base and create processes for on-boarding, upgrading, downgrading, and removal of dealers.
- Manage across and with the organization (Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Technical support, Training, etc.) to deploy, execute, and maintain support of program elements.
- Track performance of dealers to the tiers on a Quarterly basis (minimum) and provide summaries to the Regional Sales Directors for use with Sales District Managers.
- Drive Dealer Advisory Board (DAB) criteria, meetings, calls, follow-up OPL, etc.
- Annually coordinate the dealer stratification exercise aligning with Regional Sales Directors for customer uplifts, shifts, specific dealers to target based on trends, etc.
- Introduce the Dealer Program to new dealers and provide education and support for growing dealers to new elements achieved through reaching the next dealer tier.
- Develop long-term plan and KPIs for targeted number of dealers per tier, dealer performance and growth, monitoring of program element influences, retention, etc..
- Strategize on foundational approach of Dealer Program offering including shift of approach from only revenue to a points-based system for training, tech support call volume, product mix, buying behaviors, etc.
- Socialize the dealer program with the Customer Enablement team to identify how to deploy dealer program elements for Strategic Key Accounts.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or similar.
- 5+ years’ experience in product sales and marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, preferably in a global business setting.
- Strong verbal, written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in the security industry is desirable.
- Experience marketing security or other complex commercial electronic products.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and results orientation is a must.
- Ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working in a matrixed organization. requiring a high level of independence and informal leadership skills.
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 to $150,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
