This position is primarily responsible for posting jobs and maintaining a fresh and accurate company job board, while sourcing and recruiting candidates to meet the hiring needs of the Mossy Organization.
Additionally, this position will require walking all candidates through the pre-employment and onboarding processes while providing an exceptional experience for each candidate.
Assisting the Human Resources Department with various tasks and duties as assigned.

Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly rate of $23.00 / hour - $26.00 / hour.

Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service to internal (Mossy Employees) and external clients, applicants, and candidates at all times.
- Post job ads for all Mossy locations according to company and California requirements.
- Thoroughly manage and filter through applicants within our job board to effectively recruit qualified candidates.
- Matches job skills with job qualifications and interests; refers qualified clients to hiring managers and conducts necessary follow-up.
- Attends Job Fairs when needed to promote open positions and successfully increase applicant interest and volume.
- Work with temp agency to coordinate temporary position needs (when necessary).
- Conduct reference checks & pre-screening requirements for candidates.
- Work with applicants through the pre-employment process and onboarding for Dealerships who do not have a designated HR Administrator on-site.
- Ensuring completion of all required onboarding paperwork.
- Send Thanks, but no Thanks letters when needed.
- Send Pre-Adverse Action & Adverse Action Letters to applicants who fail the pre-employment process.
- Respond to incoming emails and phone calls promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining accuracy and timely completion of Reports for the Human Resources Manager as required.
- Thoroughly learn and maintain all aspects of the Recruiter System & HRIS System, along with any other company used Job boards as needed.
- Provide Paycom Links, Drug Screen Results, etc. as needed to Dealership Administrative Assistants.
- Cross Train to provide support to the HR Team.
- Tackle and Follow-through with projects as assigned by HR Department.
- Promoting and understanding of, and strong commitment to the Mossy Team.
Qualifications
- Must be highly organized; have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities; anticipate needs and demonstrate excellent judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and with store customers.
- Follows directions from a supervisor.
- Interacts effectively with co-workers.
- Effective organizational / administrative skills, ability to manage own workload and handle multi-tasks.
- Team player attitude with superior service skills, willing to help out other co-workers as needed.
- Understands and follows posted work rules and procedures and all company policies.

- Have a valid CA Driver's License with a good driving record.
