Job Title : Network Engineer
Location : Louisville, KY 40202
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Assignment Description : Selected candidate will be working with the IT IO Data Networking team to provide IT Technical and Compliance support for an enterprise network environment.
Skill Set Requirements and Capabilities :
Required :
- Candidate must be able to pass background checks
- Experience working in Azure or AWS Cloud networks
- Experience with route and switch in a medium to large enterprise network environment (preferred : Cisco )
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols
- Position will have on-call responsibilities
Additional skills a plus : Cisco Firepower, SD-WAN, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless, and Palo Alto
Level of Experience : Degree in IT and 4-6+ years of Network Enterprise experience (or 8+ years of Network Enterprise experience if no degree)
Additional Qualifications for Consideration :
- Data Center Switching(Cisco ACI a plus)
- Firewall (Cisco FTD / Palo Alto Enterprise)
- BGP, Cloud integrations(Azure, or AWS)
