Job Title : Inventory Analyst
Job Description
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for performing data entry and maintaining inventory records. You will assist with inventory audits, generate basic reports, schedule physical inventory counts, and lead processes on inventory discrepancies.
Additionally, you will monitor and report Safety Stock levels, facilitate communication for proper handling of scrap, termination, and obsolescence, and create and review reports to identify trends or issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain inventory records.
- Assist with inventory audits and generate basic reports.
- Schedule physical inventory counts
- Monitor and report Safety Stock levels through monthly summaries and demand analysis.
- Create and review reports to identify trends or issues and to support or initiate actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to answer questions related to inventory and operational processes from all departments.
- Perform inventory adjustments according to thresholds set by the department manager.
- Assist in implementing policies and procedures for accurate inventory tracking.
- Identify and drive root cause corrective action for inventory issues.
- Fulfill other analytical duties as instructed.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in data entry.
- Experience in inventory control and inventory management.
- Knowledge of cycle counting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to input data into computer systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse inventory management.
- Knowledge of ITAR regulations.
