Lee Hecht Harrison is looking for an interim Compensation Analyst for a healthcare organization on Chicago’s west side. If you’re interested in keeping your comp & benefits skills active while searching for a long-term permanent role, this position is for you!
Compensation Range : $ - $ Per Hour (Depending on Experience & Technical Skillet)
Employment Type : Contract / Temporary (3 Months)
Hours : Monday Friday; 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm (Full-Time; 40 Hours Per Week)
Worksite : In-Office / Onsite
Dress Code : Business Casual
Report To : Director of Human Resources

Responsibilities :
Compensation Program Management : Serve as an SME on compensation projects, recommending and implementing changes to enhance programs and procedures.
Conduct job evaluation analyses, equity assessments, and large-scale market studies, presenting proposals for cost-effective solutions.
Consultation & Alignment : Partner with HRBP to consult on departmental requests, providing alignment options and synergy solutions across the hospital system.
Process Improvement & Compliance : Manage the annual performance evaluation and merit increase process, ensuring data flow and compliance with Joint Commission standards.
Review and recommend changes to compensation policies and procedures, focusing on process automation for admin tasks.
Expert Guidance & Training : Act as an expert resource, providing consultation to management on pay decisions and conducting training for people managers.
Assist in revising job descriptions, coordinating survey participation, and updating salary structures based on benchmark data analysis.
Requirements :
5+ years of experience in an HR Compensation-related position (Compensation Analyst job title preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (CCP Certified Compensation Professional is ideal)
Experience with practical statistical theory application running large scale market studies to determine compensation packages for a multitude of jobs
Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred hospital setting is ideal
