Job Title : Construction Laborer

Pay : $16-20 Dependent on experience

Hours : 6 : 30-4pm Monday-Friday with lots of opportunity for overtime

Job Description

A commercial foundation installation and foundation repair company is seeking 4-5 laborers with general construction experience and experience in concrete.

The company specializes in bridge construction, road repairs, and new construction roads, including building concrete streets.

They are also looking for 1 experienced concrete finisher, and having backhoe or skidsteer experience is a plus. Candidates will be responsible for cleaning up job sites, transporting concrete from trucks to formed pads, and assisting the foreman / supervisor with various tasks.

The company is willing to train ambitious and motivated candidates. Daily tasks include digging holes, sweeping, material movement, and site clean-up.

Candidates must be strong, ready to work every day, and motivated to move up in the company. Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel across the Hampton Roads area, up towards .

and down to NC / SC are required.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Work Environment

Candidates will be working at various construction sites across the Hampton Roads area, including new construction commercial buildings.

The job requires working from 6 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 5-10 hours of overtime typically expected. The work involves pouring concrete to lay foundations down away from roadways.

Candidates must be able to lift fifty pounds consistently.
