Job Description
- Understand and follow Malco’s Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
- Understand and follow procedures and work instructions applicable to the job function.
- Safely operate a variety of labeling equipment.
- Perform designated quality checks and statistical process control documentation.
- Perform all operations, changeovers, adjustments and cleaning of labeling equipment.
- Utilizes traveler to check for correct components, and label applications specifications.
- Performs cycle counts on components.
- Walks the production line and communicates with employees working on the production line.
- Ability to identify quality issues and make supervisor and / or lab personnel aware.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment as required and follows all safety rules as outlined in Right to Know information and Company safety policies.
- Keeps work area clean and neat while following housekeeping procedures.
- Perform related duties as needed by supervision such as utility, machine operator, etc.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to work 5, 8-hour workdays; works overtime as needed for the successful operation of the plant.
- Must have good reading and writing skills / must be able to perform simple arithmetic.
- Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work as part of the production team.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must successfully pass any required testing.
May be required to temporarily transfer between plants and / or shift based on business needs
