Job Summary
The primary duty of a Financial Aid Advisor 1 is to provide financial aid advisement to students and parents on a daily basis.
This individual is also responsible for analyzing files for a specific caseload of students who apply for financial aid on an annual basis and determines financial aid eligibility upon verification of specific documents.
This position requires awarding aid in compliance with government regulations and specific program guidelines and serves as the department's subject matter expert on special programs.
Work assignments may be assigned to any SGSC campus, off-campus, day, evenings, week-ends, and / or on-line.

Provide counseling and assistance -

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
The completion of an Associate Degree
Required Experience
Minimum of one year of successful previous work experience is required
Proposed Salary
Salary - $36,000 annually plus benefits.
