Overview
The Associate Visual Merchandiser is directly responsible for creating product planograms as well as conducting pre and post analysis for each planogram / store assignment to ensure it meets the benchmarking criteria.
This position is located in our Livonia, MI headquarters and offers a hybrid environment working in office M-W and working remotely Th-F.
Responsibilities / Qualifications
The Associate Visual Merchandiser will :
- Design and execute all facets of planograms and monthly promotional display that implement the company’s strategies.
- Follow and maintain general space planning guidelines. This includes product placement and creating presentations that shows off the product and enhances the customer experience, while delivering sales and optimizing space.
- Analyze and measure success using sales and space productivity metrics to identify opportunities for further improvement of store layouts and planograms.
- Support and maintain two-way communications with the field and office regarding planogram effectiveness and opportunities.
Use feedback to alter strategies as identified.
- Maintain space planning systems and the integrity of the data warehouse, system operations, file systems and processes, and provides source and library control of planograms under their responsibility.
- Support the marketing team with both new store and remodel aisle directories.
- Answer merchandising related service tickets in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
PAWsome Associate Visual Merchandiser candidates will have :
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in visual and planogram discipline within retail or related field
- 2+ years of experience using industry accepted space planning software (Blue Yonder (formerly JDA), Apollo, or other); certification desired
- Superior verbal and written communication skills enabling presentation of complex ideas in a clear manner
- Solid project management skills including timing and action planning, management against key milestones and scope creep
- Ability to quickly and efficiently analyze large amounts of information to drive actionable and relevant insights
- Capable of managing multiple complex projects and trouble shoot to deliver results
- Demonstrates strong problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Displays a strong detail-oriented approach to work
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products Powerpoint, Word, Excel
