The Accounts Payable Associate will join our accounting team in our Wholesale Division, Bridge Specialty Group. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, the Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for processing insurance company payables in a timely manner.
How You Will Contribute
Responsible for vendor payables.
Produce monthly reports and reconciliations.
Responsible for Carrier payables set up on item basis schedule.
Assists the accounting team with bank / GL transactions.
Work with underwriting teams to address day-to-day accounting concerns.
Answer questions from Carriers regarding balances & resolve discrepancies.
Cross-trained in accounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations or any other team absences.
Assist with special projects.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
Associate degree or equivalent from a two (2)-year college or technical school; or
2-3 years of applicable experience
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
