Reach Truck Driver – Nightshift

Job Responsibilities

As a Reach Truck Driver on the nightshift, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include :

1. Operating a Reach Truck

You will be operating a Reach Truck to efficiently move and handle goods within the warehouse. Adhering to health and safety regulations, you will ensure the safe loading and unloading of HGVs.

2. Loading and Unloading HGVs

Using your reach truck skills, you will load and unload HGVs with precision and efficiency. This will involve safely securing the goods and ensuring they are properly positioned for transportation.

3. Stock Management

You will be responsible for retrieving stock from designated areas within the warehouse using the reach truck. Similarly, you will efficiently put stock away in the appropriate locations, ensuring accuracy and organization.

4. Picking and Packing

Working as part of a team, you will contribute to the picking and packing process to fulfill customer orders. Following picking instructions, you will carefully pack the products, ensuring they are prepared for dispatch.

5. General Warehouse Duties

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may be required to undertake other general warehouse duties as needed.

This could include assisting with inventory checks, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the work area, and supporting other team members when required.

Sunday to Thursday : 21 : 30 06 : 00

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need :

A valid reach truck license and relevant experience operating a reach truck

Good physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling and lifting

Attention to detail and accuracy in stock management and picking / packing processes

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors

Flexibility to work night shifts, as well as occasional overtime if required
