The College of Engineering at UAA is accepting applications for academic year 24-25. We are seeking applicants for the adjunct instructor job pool.

The incumbent will be responsible for teaching one or more courses in a manner consistent with the course content guide. Adjunct faculty are expected to hold office hours appropriate for the course(s) being taught.
Applicants will be evaluated on the suitability of their academic preparations, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in a manner consistent with the specific course content guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications :
MA / MS in Engineering or a related field, unless an exception has been approved by the College of Engineering Dean. Exceptions may be made in other circumstances when prospective faculty have special professional credentials and experience.
Position Details :
This position is located on UAA's main campus in Anchorage, AK. This is a part-time, adjunct instructor position. Minimum salaries are set by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with United Academic - Adjuncts, AAUP-AFT / AFL-CIO.
Salaries may vary based on education and experience.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as additional adjunct instructors are needed.
