Sr. Architectural Designer / Architect, where you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing high-quality architectural projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conducts codes and standards research, documentation and compliance. Assesses design options to meet requirements.
- Maintains communications with regulatory and review agencies.
- May participate in project interviews or presentations.
- Prepares and manages project communications and information, including meeting notes, agency reviews, and cost estimates.
- Develops project program requirements.
- Assumes responsibility for meeting construction budget and schedule requirements.
- Oversees the production of construction drawings and specifications.
- Coordinates activities amongst all members of the project team, client team and consultants.
- Ensures documents produced meet Quality Control standards. May conduct QC reviews of contract documents.
- May conduct technical and peer reviews of complex projects.

Key Skills and Abilities :
- Ability to effectively lead project meetings with the design team, project team, and consultants.
- Strong working knowledge and experience using Revit
- Keeps current with continuing education credits as required for the maintenance of a professional license.
- Mentors Architectural staff.

Requirements
- 5-year B-Arch, or BA / BS with M-Arch highly desired.
- 5 - 7 years of experience is desired.
- Registered Architect or currently working towards licensure.
- NCARB certification desired.
