Sawtooth Concepts is looking for an Project Manager - Residential and Commercial Cabinetry to lead commercial and residential cabinet construction projects from initial opportunity to successful completion.

The Project Manager will prepare cost estimates, develop project schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and specifications.

This is a Full-Time position (7am-4pm Mon-Fri) with some opportunity for overtime. As a sister company to Scentsy, Inc., we provide excellent benefits such as Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, and Medical / Vision / Dental benefits as well as competitive wages.

What You'll Do :

  • Review project requirements and estimate the number of production, finish, and install hours as well as cost and availability of raw materials that are required to complete the project
  • Obtain and assess bid information and determine feasibility of developing proposals
  • Compile material, labor, equipment, and contingency requirements for each bid
  • Source materials and obtain quotes from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Prepare, issue, and negotiate project proposals with clients
  • Negotiate with prospective vendors throughout bid stages and provide value engineering, price breakdowns, and alternative solutions
  • Review contract requirements, project scope, and specifications, to ensure project compliance and success
  • Lead project handoff meetings with Engineering, Production, and Installation
  • Prepare and execute project schedules, including resources, timeframes, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise
  • Document significant events and changes to projects and complete change orders
  • Participate in quality control inspections during production and installation
  • Follow-up with contractors and customers on outstanding bid proposals
  • Communicate lead times to contractors and customers
  • Participate in production and installation forecasting
  • Work with contractors and customers to forecast upcoming projects
  • Pursue leads with new contractors and customers
  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or Project Management or equivalent experience
  • Professional in Project Management (PPM) or similar certification preferred
  • 3 years of experience estimating costs in manufacturing, construction, or production or other related field
  • Strong knowledge of millwork construction methods
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and hardware for commercial and residential cabinetry
  • Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and woodworking industry software
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
  • Strong time management and work prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to regularly gather and share updates with stakeholders
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and architectural drawings
  • Advanced knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require walking or standing up to 30% of the time
  • On days where assistance is needed in Production or Installation work requires the ability to frequently stand, bend, squat, walk, reach above shoulder level, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally crawl
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 70 lbs. safely throughout the facility repeatedly
