Opportunity to join a recognized law firm as an Associate Attorney!
We are seeking a talented Associate Attorney with a strong background in civil defense litigation to assist and grow with their esteemed insurance defense practice.
This position offers the chance to expand areas of expertise by exploring various areas within the firm. Associate attorneys work closely with senior attorneys while managaging their own caseload and updating clients regularly.
The successful candidate can expect to take on a significant amount of responsibility, handling cases from initial consultation to resolution, including sitting with senior attorneys for trials.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Michigan
- 2 to 5 years of experience in private practice
- Preferred experience in insurance defensegeneral liability and first / third party claims
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload through all phases of litigation
- Represent clients in various insurance defense matters
- Collaborate with fellow Attorneys and Partners on cases and legal initiatives
- Handle court appearances and depositions regularly
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates on case progress
