The Sr. Director Campaign for Hosparus Health is responsible for planning, growing and managing all aspects of fundraising and communication strategies for the comprehensive campaign to advance the mission.
The Campaign Director will manage all aspects of a comprehensive campaign to expand the services, physical space and geographic footprint of Hosparus Health.
Position Duties & Responsibilities :
- Works with campaign team to develop and execute a systematic strategic plan to diversify, strengthen and increase the funding base from individual donors, corporations and foundations, for the comprehensive efforts of the campaign.
- Coordinates all components of fundraising, donor cultivation and solicitation within the Development department.
- Manages the creation of promotional efforts, written materials, and social media presence for campaign, in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
- Develops ongoing relationships with assigned prospects and donors. Engages grateful families, employees and other constituents to encourage giving.
- Solicits 5-7 figure annual, major and planned gifts.
- Supervises staff conducting the donor database and gift acknowledgement functions.
- Organizes donor recognition to ensure that donors are appreciated and properly stewarded.
- Coordinates donor database management, information retrieval, analysis and report preparation. Provides monthly campaign reports regarding fundraising goals, initiatives, and progress.
- Collaborates with marketing and communications team on coordinated strategies.
- Supervises, creates and coordinates campaign events as part of the overall campaign effort. Oversees efforts for press releases for events or other activities conducted for campaign purposes.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Position Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required, with graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum five years of proven fundraising experience.
- Minimum two years supervisory experience.
- Proven experience executing in a capital campaign and fundraising programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills; successful ability to personally identify, cultivate and solicit individual donors, corporations and foundations.
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of organizational objectives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
- Flexibility to travel to sites within the organization’s service area, which may include night and weekend events or travel.
