Physician Assistant - Orthopedics (Bilingual Spanish)

Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) with expertise in Orthopedics and fluency in Spanish to join our orthopedic practice in Atlanta, GA .
In this role, you will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of orthopedic conditions.
Your bilingual skills will be essential in delivering clear and effective communication to both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions.
- Assist in orthopedic surgeries and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care.
- Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, MRIs), and create treatment plans.
- Administer injections, set fractures, and apply casts, splints, and braces as necessary.
- Provide patient education, explaining diagnoses and treatment plans clearly in both English and Spanish.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Accurately document patient encounters and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Conduct follow-up evaluations, monitor recovery, and adjust treatment plans as required.
Qualifications :
- Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program .
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia .
- Experience in Orthopedics required, including assisting in surgeries, diagnostics, and patient care.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Strong clinical skills in orthopedic care, including administering injections and managing fractures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
