Description & Requirements We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to coach and guide Agile development teams, ensuring successful project execution by removing impediments and promoting clear communication.

In this role, you will facilitate Scrum events, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while ensuring that project goals and scope are clearly defined.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Facilitate work of Scrum Team. - Coach and guide the team through execution of Agile development practices and remove impediments that hinder project progress.

  • Ensure that goals and scope are clear for the teams. - Facilitate Scrum Events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective).
  • Promote continuous communication and monitor and improve team dynamics. - Coach and guide the team through execution of Agile development practices and remove impediments that hinder project progress.
  • Ensure that goals and scope are clear for the teams. - Facilitate Scrum Events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective).
  • Promote continuous communication and monitor and improve team dynamics. Facilitate scrum activities and meetings (daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives) between the scrum team and product owner.
  • Lead one or more agile development efforts within the organization. - Document areas of improvement and action items coming out of the sprint retrospectives.
  • Work with Product Owner(s) to keep the backlog(s) groomed. - Maintain and report on relevant sprint metrics, and administer and maintain the accuracy of the scrum board.
  • Ensure quality standards for all deliverables and promote continuous process improvement. - Act as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made;

identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team from meeting project milestones / deadlines. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in related field.

7-10 years of relevant professional experience required. - Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Additional Requirements - Scrum Master certification from SAFe or another governing body. - Demonstrated experience with practicing agile delivery methodologies.

  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct agile ceremonies including daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Demonstrated experience with hands-on configuration and use of agile enabling tools such as JIRA, Rally, Confluence. - Demonstrated experience working with nearshore, offshore, and working in a distributed team.
  • Experience in delivering Web, Mobile, and RPA solutions. - Knowledge and expertise in JIRA board creation and management.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. - Solid communication skills and leadership. Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.

Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position $ 78,800.00 Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position $ 168,800.00 *
