Sales Director Software as a Service Solutions (SaaS, UCaaS and CCaaS)

Job Summary :

As a technology communications company, OneCloud's Sales team is crucial in achieving business goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our Sales team in both direct and channel sales efforts.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership :

  • Provide strong leadership to the Sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Direct Sales :

  • Manage and lead the direct sales team to drive sales of our products / services to individual clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.

Channel Sales :

  • Develop and nurture relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to drive sales and increase market penetration.

Strategic Planning :

  • Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Performance Metrics :

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate sales performance.
  • Implement corrective actions to address any deviations from sales targets.

Training and Development :

  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Foster a continuous learning environment to keep the team updated on industry trends.

Revenue Generation :

  • Drive new business and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility.

Customer Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions.
  • Leverage customer feedback to drive product enhancements and improve the overall customer experience.

Requirements :

Education and Experience :

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success in managing both direct and channel sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Prior experience in Unified Communications, Telecom, VoIP, SaaS solutions, or similar industry preferred.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and working on a computer.
  • May be required to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be willing to commute to work at our sales office at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
  • Must be willing to travel between sales office and customer locations.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be willing to undergo background and reference checks.
