Job Description :
As the Front of House Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service, and managing a dynamic team.
You will play a key role in maintaining our bakery's reputation for warmth and excellence, while also optimizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure the front of house is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales reports
- Monitor inventory of front-of-house supplies and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar front-of-house management role (preferably in a bakery, café, or restaurant)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Attention to detail and a passion for maintaining a welcoming environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
