This position is contingent upon contract award

Overview :

The AFINC III contract supporting the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26NOS) is seeking qualified Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Engineer.

The JRSS team oversees an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF that requires a unique and dynamic skill set.

Experience Required :

• 10+ years' of experience with : installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches
• Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments
• Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot the most complex Enterprise network solutions and / or issues
• Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks as possible
• Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing / investigation purposes
• SME experience with enterprise network architectures and configurations is paramount and experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) is highly desired
• Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves
• Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling in each installation or repair

Education Required :

High School diploma or GED

Clearance Required :

TS / SCI Eligible

Certifications Required :

• IAT - II
• CCNP Collaboration
• CCNP Data Center
• CCNP Enterprise
• CCNP Service Provider

Preferred Certifications :

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
• CCIE Service Provider
• CCIE Data Center
• CCIE Collaboration
