Overview

Impinj is hiring a Vice President of Product Management for our Systems business, which includes an end-to-end offering utilizing Impinj reader integrated circuits (ICs), readers, gateways (readers with electrically steerable antennas), firmware and solution software.

We are looking for someone who will help define and expand our solutions offerings and our share of that opportunity. You will also partner closely with our engineering, sales, market development and finance organizations.

Impinj Systems products are a strategic priority, central to us winning durable, long-term share of the RAIN RFID market and the pathway by which we link items to our cloud services.

They are also core to us unlocking the use cases that Fortune 500 enterprises count on. You will lead the effort defining the products and solutions we build, how we market them, where and how we sell them, and the revenue we generate from them.

The responsibility is big, and we are looking for a strong and collaborative leader.

What you will do :

  • Lead the Systems products roadmap including market analysis, development approval, marketing strategy, demand forecasting and sales targets from product inception through end-of-life.
  • Engage with our partner ecosystem to develop solutions based on our products and technologies.
  • Prioritize and make the business case on new solution development.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across marketing, sales, engineering, market development and finance.
  • Own the achievement of the financial targets and market share of the Systems products and solutions.
  • Prioritize Systems support software, reference designs, documentation and ecosystem development.
  • Lead, manage and grow the Systems product team.

What you will bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, software, hardware, computer engineering, physics or equivalent experience.
  • 15 years of industry experience in technical product marketing, including firmware, software, hardware and ICs.
  • Extensive business experience in product leadership and ecosystem development.
  • Exceptional teamwork, business acumen and ability to surface new insights.

Compensation and Benefits :

The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $190,000- $305,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers.

Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.

In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
