Senior Risk / Audit Analyst , Only W2 (Citizen,TN, GC, GC EAD and H4EAD)

Locations : St. Louis, MO; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Des Moines, IA; Tempe / Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Duration : 12+ Months Contract

Candidate Preference : Local to one of the listed locations

Must-Have Skills :

Risk Management & Audit : Solid understanding of risk management and audit principles and practices.

Project Management Tools : Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.

Agile Methodology : Familiarity with Agile principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Vulnerability Escalation : Escalate overdue vulnerabilities to senior leaders to ensure timely remediation.

Risk Management Control : Execute the risk management control for vulnerability consequence model escalation under the guidance of the control lead and hiring manager.

Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other team members involved in executing this control.

Process Improvement : Identify and lead efforts to implement improvements in control execution, technology, and procedures.

Communication & Coordination : Understand incoming work, identify affected parties, and clearly communicate necessary actions.

Remediation Tracking : Work with remediation owners and their leadership to provide guidance and track progress until completion, escalating when necessary.

Reporting : Create communications and reports that provide transparency into progress and highlight areas needing attention.

Documentation : Maintain meticulous records and evidence to support audit and control reviews.

Required Qualifications :

Information Security : 2+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis or equivalent.

Excel : 2+ years of advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail is crucial, as this role supports a heavily audited control.

Audit / Risk Management : Prior experience in audit or risk management.

Governance & Compliance : Experience analyzing governance, policy, compliance, and risk management practices.

Collaboration & Influence : Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Facilitation & Leadership : Ability to lead meetings, drive consensus, and achieve results.

Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics to a diverse audience.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills with a high focus on accuracy.

Microsoft Office : Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

SharePoint & JIRA : Demonstrated experience using SharePoint and Jira.

Agile Methodology : Knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
