The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 -$140,000.00 DOE

Innovation Strategy : Develop and execute an innovation strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Champion design-thinking across our project portfolio priorities, applying and educating while collaborating.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product innovation.

Market Research : Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market gaps, and potential areas for product improvement.

Use insights to guide the development of innovative product concepts.

Product Design : Lead the design process for new products, ensuring that designs are innovative, functional, and aligned with customer requirements.

Collaborate with the engineering team to translate concepts into feasible product designs.

  • Project Management : Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for product development initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales, to ensure effective execution of projects.
  • Prototype Development : Oversee the development and testing of prototypes, working closely with the engineering team to ensure that prototypes meet design specifications and quality standards.

Hands on sketching, illustration, and concept development techniques to communicate lo-fi to Gen-AI concepts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Curate and conduct brainstorming and synthesis workshops leading development phases with XF teams, and curating output.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product designs provide an optimal user experience. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve product designs.

  • Regulatory Compliance : Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to product design and ensure compliance throughout the development process.
  • Collaboration and Communication : Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

Present product concepts and updates to senior management and key stakeholders.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in :

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in product management, innovation, or design, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience incorporating research (including primary and secondary research) in strategic design processes.
  • Previous experience conducting and facilitating concept generation sessions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
