Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development & Family Studies, EC Special Education, Elementary Education or a related field such as Human Services, Public Administration and / or a State Director credential with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a director or administrator of an accredited or certified program.
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements, minimum standards, and facility utilization.
- Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate learning experience and positive guidelines.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) with all levels of personnel, parents, and children.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Insured and reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and / or periodic physical examination, TB skin test, and complete background check every 24 months.

Responsibilities :
The Campus Director is responsible for the overall management, administration, and facilitation of all operational facets of a Child Development Center.
- Ensure compliance with Minimum Standards, Health & Safety Regulations, Child Care Licensing.
- Provide educational leadership and support to all campus staff.
- Provide leadership and daily supervision for all center staff.
- Ensure all staff interact and communicate respectfully with children demonstrating an inclusive environment.
- Evaluate staff performance and offer guidance as related to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of in-kind contributions.
- Assist with recruitment and enrollment of children.
- Ensure campus has a staffing plan that maintains ratios, group sizes, allows for proper coverage for breaks, PTO, and plan time.
- Ensure that facility / playground is clean, safe, and attractive, and that all equipment is operating properly.
- Assist in the coordination of documentation for children with health & nutrition, disabilities, mental health, and educational development.
- Coordinate and maintain Volunteer Program according to company policy.
- Demonstrate CCA core values and be mission-driven.
- Build and maintain multi-cultural relationships with staff, volunteers, and families.
- Organize parent groups, conduct parent meetings, and actively encourage parent involvement.
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate records on each child including but not limited to health records, home visits, social service referrals, child assessments, parent agreements, etc.

- Oversee documentation and facilitation of food inventory and USDA meal count.
- Maintain on-site files for each employee as required for licensing and personnel regulations and provide copies or notification of updated employee information to Human Resources.
- Assist as needed the Family Support Assistant to obtain access to social service referrals, community resources, and family resources.
- Oversee and participate in the recruitment of families / children to maintain optimal center enrollment in all programs.
- Provide onsite coaching and educational support for teaching teams.
- Ensure the campus is clean, attractive & inviting with careful consideration of decor to avoid clutter.
- Collect and properly account for payment of child care fees on a timely basis if applicable.
- Strive to maintain a quality center by promptly addressing and resolving issues using established company policies and procedures.
- Maintain an open, positive working relationship with Regional Director / Coordinators and collaboratively work to maintain an effective professional environment.
- Assist with ongoing monitoring including quarterly monitoring, health and safety, classroom observations, and self-assessment.
- Use data from ChildPlus and other sources to develop and implement quality improvement plans.
- Model flexibility and an openness to new ideas in the organization's practices.
- Maintain the required hours of continuing education and certifications.
- Build an inclusive culture for families, children, and staff.
