As a Director of Operations Revenue Cycle, you will be instrumental in MedMan delivering on our service commitments to our clients.
Job Description : The Director of Operations - Revenue Cycle will work closely with our team in maximizing our client’s revenue cycle performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle, from medical coding to claims management, and collaborating closely with clients to optimize financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : support the revenue cycle team, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
- Billing and Coding Oversight : Ensure accurate and compliant coding practices, optimizing reimbursement processes.
- Financial Analysis : Provide detailed analysis and reporting to clients, identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement.
- Client Collaboration : Act as the primary liaison with clients, delivering monthly reports and strategic insights.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance : Monitor billing operations to ensure adherence to federal, state, and payer regulations.
- Operational Excellence : Implement and refine operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training and Development : Mentor and train revenue cycle staff, promoting continuous learning and development.
Requirements :
- Minimum of five years of medical insurance / healthcare billing and collections experience.
- Strong understanding of medical billing rules and regulations.
- Experience in supervisory or management roles preferred.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or demonstrative coding experience equivalent.
- Proficiency in EHR / PM systems such as athenahealth®, eClinicalWorks®, etc., preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
