What we’re looking for
The Analytics Director will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s data analytics strategy, ensuring the effective use of SAP S / 4 and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to support business objectives.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and the SAP ecosystem.
The Analytics Director will work with the other IT leaders to ensure planning, coordination, direction, and design of analytics activities within the IT department, as well as providing direction and support for IT analytic solutions that enhance business operations.
Expectations & Accountabilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Utilize expertise in SAP S / 4 and SAP Analytics Cloud to optimize analytics processes and tools.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and business intelligence professionals.
- Work closely with senior leadership, IT, and business units to understand and meet their data and analytics needs.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of analytics initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in data analytics.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
What you’ll need to be successful
- 10+ years of experience in IT.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics, with ideally 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, SQL, and data visualization software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple projects, and deliver results.
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans to achieve business objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proven performance as an information technology leader in a complex, global organization, including demonstrated examples of management through influence and collaboration in complex, multi-site global environments.
- Strong business acumen, including industry- and domain-specific knowledge of the organization and its business units. Familiarity with industry trends and innovation.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills that deliver high quality results.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant (10 years) experience in lieu of degree.
