Duties :
- Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and specifications
- Review construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements
- Monitor construction progress and quality to ensure adherence to approved plans and standards
- Collect data and document findings during inspections, including measurements, photographs, and written reports
- Collaborate with construction managers and contractors to address any issues or concerns that arise during the inspection process
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that construction materials and methods meet industry standards
- Verify that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained before construction begins
- Conduct final inspections to certify completion of construction projects
Requirements :
- Proven experience in construction inspection or a related degree in Geology, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
- Familiarity with construction management principles and practices
- Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with contractors, construction managers, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
