JOB DESCRIPTION

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking an Anesthesiologist for its growing Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Mount Sinai Queens!

We are seeking an ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist that is highly motivated, qualified, energetic, and team orientated.

This is a full time position. Mount Sinai Queens is a community hospitals that performs a wide range of general, orthopedic and vascular surgery.

There is no obstetrics, pediatrics, or cardiac surgery. At Mount Sinai Queens weekday call is in-house, and weekend call is from home.

The Department at this site does not utilize residents or CRNAs. There is a major emphasize on collegiality and teamwork at MSQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Staff general operating rooms, interventional radiology and endoscopy

There is no Pediatrics, Cardiac, Obstetrics or major trauma

Combined in-house and home (weekends)

Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system

Fully integrated Epic Electronic Health Record

QUALIFICATIONS

Medical Degree from an Accredited University

New York Medical License

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills

A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 475K to 550K including call incentive (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital / community need.

As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.

The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
