Purchasing Manager

JobSummary :

NB GlobalSolutions is seeking a highly organized and detailorientedPurchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for managing supplier relationships tracking costsensuring quality assurance of purchased items managing inventorycoordinating logistics and scheduling deliveries to align withproject timelines.

This role requires a strong background in supplychain management and proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite.

KeyResponsibilities :

SupplierRelationshipManagement :

• Buildand maintain strong relationships with suppliers andvendors.
• Negotiateterms and conditions to ensure the best possible pricing andquality.

CostTracking andManagement :

• Monitorand track the costs of purchased items for variousprojects.
• Preparecost analysis reports and provide insights to the VP ofPurchasing.

QualityAssurance andControl :

• ConductQA / QC checks on items leaving the warehouse and upon arrival atprojectsites.
• Ensureall items meet the required standards andspecifications.

InventoryManagement :

• Manageand track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for ongoingprojects.
• Implementinventory control procedures to minimize waste andinefficiencies.

LogisticsCoordination :

• Coordinatethe logistics of transporting items to projectsites.
• Ensuretimely delivery of items in accordance with projectschedules.

DeliveryScheduling :

• Scheduledeliveries of purchased items to align with projecttimelines.
• Communicateeffectively with project managers and site coordinators to avoiddelays.

OrganizationalDocumentation :

• Createand maintain organizational charts detailing all purchased itemsquantities costs and other relevantinformation.
• Updaterecords regularly and ensureaccuracy.

Qualifications :

• OrganizationalSkills : Must be extremely organized with the ability tomanage multiple taskssimultaneously.
• Attentionto Detail : Strong detail orientation to ensure accuracyin cost tracking inventory management and QA / QCprocesses.
• RelationshipDriven : Excellent interpersonal skills to build andmaintain relationships with suppliers andvendors.
• CommunicationSkills : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively inboth written and verbalforms.
• TechnicalProficiency : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (WordExcel PowerPointOutlook).
• SupplyChain Knowledge : Solid background and understanding ofsupply chain management principles andpractices.

PreferredQualifications :

• Previousexperience in a purchasing or procurementrole.
• Experiencein a projectbasedenvironment.
• Certificationin supply chain management (e.g. CSCPCPIM).

Preferred Qualifications : Previousexperience in a purchasing or procurement role. Experience in aproject-based environment.

Certification in supply chain management(e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
