Job Summary
We are seeking an Executive Chef to join a well established and stable group. Our focus is quality and amazing-tasting authentic food.
The ideal Chef is experienced with Italian cuisine, seafood, steaks, and chops and has a passion for excellent food and presentation.
Must be self-driven to manage the kitchen and labor for the BOH in the restaurant.
Restaurant Executive Chef's Requirements :
- High-volume experience 8+ million a year
- 3+ years of Executive Chef experience in upscale dining
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent track record for staffing and performance management
- Ability to lead by example with strong attention to detail for following recipes
- Ability to thrive in a chef-driven environment
- Skilled in leading and developing one's team
Restaurant Executive Chef's Responsibilities :
- Ensure all day-to-day operations in the kitchen are executed
- Responsible for all food product procurement
- Comply with all purchasing programs
- Expert on Expo and food presentation
- Manage labor, expenses, and cost of food budget successfully
- Ensure all equipment is functioning in proper order
- Comply with all county and state laws governing food service operations
