Special Education Teacher (SPED) Contract Job
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time roles with school districts in the Chandler, AZ area.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning abilities across various academic subjects.
- Adapt teaching materials and methodologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and other support staff to integrate students with disabilities into the general education curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies to meet learning goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders about student progress and support requirements.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in special education and instructional technology.
Requirements : To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements for Arizona :
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate with an endorsement in Special Education.
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
