Digital Project Manager

My client, an iconic education and family media brand, is looking to hire an ongoing contractor for their Digital team - this person will work as a Project Manager - details below - hybrid model in Soho Manhattan, temp opportunity with hourly pay, can start ASAP!

Job Description / Overview of Day to Day Responsibilities :

Reporting into the Senior Director of Digital Services Project Management, the Project Manager Contractor will manage multiple projects to drive forward the business objectives of the Data and Analytics team within the Digital Services division.

The Project Manager Contractor will work closely with the Data and Analytics VP and Directors to determine priorities. The Project Manager Contractor must be able to manage and meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities and direction to deliver outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Concurrently manage day-to-day deliverables for multiple projects for work owned by the team
• Understand the project vision and timelines to ensure delivery happens in line with business

requirements and manage communication within and across the project teams to proactively identify risks and mitigations

• Effectively manage stakeholders across teams within the Digital Services organization
• Manage schedules for collaborating with team members to track milestone deliverables and drive project management
• Maintain and update project trackers and relevant project documents
• Successfully deliver projects by facilitating collaboration and communication to ensure that all

stakeholders participate in decisions and are informed on progress

• Plan and lead regular meetings with the goal of advancing and finalizing projects; building agendas, documenting next steps, and following up on next steps
• Proactively identify risks and mitigations and escalate as necessary
• Develop contingency and communication plans for the event that the timeline for delivery and the delivery of the project has an at risk status
• Track and report project metrics as defined
• Accountable for the delivery of outcomes
• Drive positive change in a complex environment

Job Qualifications / Requirements :

• 3-5 years project management experience
• Experience delivering multiple large-scale, cross-functional projects with success
• Familiarity with data analytics and data science projects a plus. Ability to understand scope, objectives,

and deliverables and to anticipate blockers for these types of projects a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Self-motivated, enjoys working independently and as part of a larger team
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Must be energetic and highly responsive, responding to issues quickly with an open and positive attitude
• Team player with a can-do attitude; must be comfortable with changing opportunities and priorities
