POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for verification of product quality, workmanship and other factors above standard quality.

Provides feedback to Line Leaders and Asst. Reviewer of discrepancies and makes recommendations for corrections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Enter data into AX system
  • Unload meat trucks at multiple locations
  • Verifies incoming materials
  • Assists the shipping department with the movement of finished package goods to the customer / consumer.
  • Pick orders, loads / unloads trucks, rotate product and participate in inventory counting.
  • Expected to be cross-trained in all areas of Shipping & Receiving department; work in Receiving as needed.
  • Basic computer knowledge in MS Office products as well as AS / 400 required.
  • Will be required to work in Warehouse Management System, including a RF fun used to track levels of inventory
  • Overtime may be frequent during peak production periods.

  • Required education generally equivalent to a High School Diploma;
  • Requires 1-3 years of warehouse or Manufacturing experience.
  • Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform metric conversions.
  • Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all levels of the organizations.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings and other warehouse paperwork.
  • Must be a certified forklift driver. Ability to use other industrial equipment as needed.
  • Requires a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. CDL Classifications preferred.
  • Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Requires a strong knowledge of AS 400 and AX software.

PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to stand / Walk for 8-9 hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift, Push, Pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and squat, reach above shoulders as needed for day to day responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.
  • Must have good hand and eye coordination.
  • Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less.
  • Must be able to work overtime, during peak production periods.
