Human Resources Assistant
Overview : The successful candidate is responsible for the comprehensive management of HR administrative tasks within the organization.
This includes managing the I9 and E-Verify process, tracking license expirations, requesting psi email addresses for new hires, processing requests for jury duty and attestation letters, maintaining employee referral sheet, participating in employee engagement activities, and additional ad-hoc duties as requested.
The HR Assistant will also cross-train with the Hiring Coordinator to assist with hiring and onboarding as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assists with the completion and verification of I-9s, E-Verify, and fingerprint background checks.
- Tracks and manages upcoming license and certification expiration, employee referrals, employee background checks, and background checks.
- Provides clerical support to HR manager, such as generating reports, maintain files, and ad- hoc projects as requested.
- Helps plan and implement various initiatives with the Employee Engagement Team to create a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by HR manager.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum of six months of previous HR-related experience.
- Ability to uphold high ethical and confidentiality standards.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication skills, written skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
