The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as a Program Coordinator for to support our Federation of Block Units Public Safety Collaborative (STLPSC) by providing daily supervision, direction, and support of the day to day operations of the STLPSC.
The Program Coordinator will implement predetermined strategies to achieve contractual goals and coordination / monitoring of service delivery.
The Program Coordinator will :
- Supervise program staff by providing direction, input, and feedback.
- Create, revise, and review data-sharing agreements and grant agreements as appropriate.
- Co-lead STLPSC conversations regarding intervention strategies.
- Co-lead bi-monthly STLPSC implementation strategy meetings and follow-up meetings.
- Provide project management support for the creation of Implementation Strategy Project Plans and Implementation Strategy Project Updates by creating frameworks for STLPSC members to use as a starting point.
- Create and deliver presentations related to the work of the STLPSC.
- Maintain relationships with community members, local leaders, and nonprofit organizations.
- Manage logistics for STLPSC presence at public safety-related meetings, training, workshops, and conferences.
- Manage email communications for the STLPSC.
- Create and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to OVP regarding activities of the STLPSC.
- Support the identification of trends, creation of risk narratives, and creation of community-led solutions using RTMDx analysis.
- Create content for regular STLPSC updates and progress reports.
The above knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human service field, work experience / coursework in public administration, and three years of experience working with clients of all demographics and the general community are desirable.
